International Mental Health Leadership Program (iMHLP)
iMHLP is a leadership training program and a global network of mental health professionals committed to mental health system development.
It is with pleasure that I invite you to participate in iMHLP 2011. This is the 10th year that the program has been offered. There are more than 170 graduates of the program in 18 countries who are demonstrating creative and sustained leadership in the development of effective, equitable, affordable mental health services, and in the protection and enhancement of the human rights of people with mental illness.
The 2011 program will focus attention on mental health system development in Vietnam and Sri Lanka (but will, as always, be relevant to mental health system development anywhere). For those interested in development in these two countries in particular it will be an excellent opportunity to work together with colleagues from Vietnam and Sri Lanka in the design of mental health system research and development projects, and to form collaborative linkages.
We invite you to become a skilled and effective contributor in the growing movement for global mental health.
